I'm a grad student and nurse in my early thirties living in the Boston area.
about me...
- I'm Chinese-American from the Chicago area.
- Now live in the Boston area.
- I'm only 4'10". Typically short for an Asian person. I've been nicknamed "the little one" by my friends.
- I came to Boston and majored in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. Don't be impressed. I still don't understand anything.
- I loved Boston so much that I've stayed ever since.
- I worked for six years before heading back to school. First as a lab technician and then clinical research. I was sick of talking to machines all day as a tech.
- Loved my job in clinical research, but wanted more.
- Now I'm an oncology nurse trying to make my way through grad school.
- I hope to one day work as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in oncology or the ICU setting with a little moonlighting on the side to pay for my growing crafting habit and the student loans.
- I have two sisters and two brothers. I'm the eldest of five.
- Even though none of my sibs live at home, my parents still have two minivans in case we all come home. Is bigger really better?
- I love food and I dabble with cooking. Although I have little time these days since I'm studying most of the time.
- I love chocolate, pita chips, everything bagels, a good cup of coffee with lots of cream and sugar, peaches, asian pears, and so much more.
- I'm a magazine junkie. I currently subscribe to Real Simple, InStyle, Gourmet, Food & Wine, Travel & Leisure, Interweave Knits and countless others...
